It’s October, and everyone knows what that means: People obsessed with pumpkin spice everything. Also, Halloween! We at the Fictosphere would like to concentrate a bit on the latter this month.
While it’s no secret that we love monsters here (many of Mike Podgor’s past Throwback Thursday posts are from a blog concerned with the status of certain characters as “monsters,” after all), and while we post horror-related articles fairly consistently anyway, the Halloween season is an excuse for us to do so more frequently under an arbitrary, artificially created umbrella “event” with a unifying graphic (the above, provided by artist Tantz Aerine).
Will all of the posts this month have a horror theme? No, but many kinda sorta might possibly, maybe, perhaps. We’ll see.
So stay tuned to the site for some special treats this month, and maybe a trick or two–but tricks take work, so don’t count on too many of those.
